Can A Person Who Offers Nafl Salah Alone At Night Recite Audibly ?

Question

What do the Scholars of Islam and the Muftis of the Shari’ah say regarding this ruling: I offer Salat-ut-Taubah at night; am I allowed to recite audibly? I offer this Nafl Salah alone.

A person who recites Nawafil Salah alone at night has the choice, whether he recites in a low voice or in an audible voice. Therefore, in view of the question asked, you can recite audibly while offering the Salat-ut-Taubah alone at night provided reciting audibly does not disturb the family members.

It is mentioned in Muheet Burhani:

Allamah Zain bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad known as Ibn Nujaim al-Misri al-Hanafi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه writes in Al-Bahr al-Ra'iq:

Sadr al-Shariah Badr al-Tariqah Mufti Muhammad Amjad Ali A’zmi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه writes: “It is Wajib to recite in a low voice in the daytime Nafl Salah and it is optional in the night while offering Nafl Salah alone, and if Nafl Salah is offered congregationally, reciting audibly is Wajib”.[3]
