اَلْجَوَابُ بِعَوْنِ الْمَلِکِ الْوَھَّابِ اَللّٰھُمَّ ھِدَایَۃَ الْحَقِّ وَالصَّوَابِ |
Whether it is the Imam or any other praying person, it is Fard for the bottom part of any one toe from the ten toes of both feet to touch the ground and it is Wajib for the bottom portion of three toes from each foot to touch the ground, and it is Sunnah for the bottom part of all ten toes of both feet to touch the ground and face towards the Qiblah (direction of prayer). If someone prostrated in such a way that both feet were raised from the ground or only the upper part of the foot was touching the ground or only the tips of the toes were touching the ground and the bottom part of not even a single toe was touching the ground, the prayer is not valid. It is Fard to repeat such a prayer in the correct manner. Likewise, if the bottom part of one toe was touching the ground but the bottom portion of three toes from each foot did not touch the ground, then, due to leaving a Wajib action, one will be sinful and it will be Wajib to repeat this prayer. Furthermore, as the Imam is responsible for the prayer of those who are praying behind him, in the case of the prayer not being valid for the Imam and it becoming Fard to repeat for him, in this case, the prayer of those praying behind him will not be valid either; it will also be Fard for them to repeat it. Similarly, in the case of the prayer being Wajib to repeat for the Imam, then it will also be Wajib for those praying behind him to repeat it. |
