Question |
What do the Islamic scholars and respected Muftis of Shari’ah say about the following issue: We have bought a new house. There are two such washrooms where W.C. faces the direction of Qiblah. Please tell the Shar’i ruling about them for us. |
The Shar’i
ruling for you is that you immediately get the direction of the W.Cs
corrected in those washrooms. While passing urine or stool, if your face or
back faces the Qiblah, you will be a sinner. Because having your face or back
towards the direction of Qiblah at the time of using the toilet is an
impermissible and sinful act. Until the direction of the W.C. is not
corrected, it is compulsory for those using such toilets to sit having face
or back towards other direction than Qiblah. |
