Question
What do the noble scholars and the jurist of Islamic law say regarding the
following matter:
Is it permissible for a shaikh e faani [an old
person who is incapable fasting i.e. neither can he
fast currently nor there is hope of capability of fasting in future] to pay
complete fidya[expiation] for the fasts of the whole
month of Ramadan in the beginning of the month? Further, is it permissible to
pay fidya for all 30 days to one needy person or is
it necessary to pay 30 needy individuals?
